International Tax Specialist

Do you have experience in either UK Corporation Tax, International Tax, or Transfer Pricing? 

Are you ready to tackle the UK’s toughest tax challenges and make a real impact with a team of experienced tax specialists?

In this role you'll

  • lead and support on complex, high-profile tax enquiries
  • assess tax risks, conduct detailed enquiry work and engage with customers and their representatives
  • collaborate with colleagues across the organisation
  • mentor and support the development of other tax specialists

What we're looking for:

  • strong recent experience in UK Corporation Tax, International Tax, or Transfer Pricing
  • proven track record of managing complex tax enquiries or projects, demonstrating analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • professional qualification such as CTA, ADIT, CCAB membership or equivalent (or significant relevant experience at a similar seniority)

Salary

£58,541 to £72,711

Commercial Treasury Specialist

Do you have an extensive current experience of applying transfer pricing and/or international tax rules to financial transactions gained either in public sector or private sector working in Treasury and/or Tax teams for large multinationals or advisory firms advising on financial transactions in the Financial Services sector?

If so, HMRC are seeking Commercial Treasury Specialists to act as experts in transfer pricing and/or international taxation of Treasury and financial transactions.  Your workload will be varied, consisting of risk assessment, complex enquiry work, real-time working, and will involve interacting with taxpayers and their representatives.

In this role you'll:

  • Conduct risk assessments and manage complex enquiries in real time
  • Engage with taxpayers and their representatives
  • Collaborate with internal specialists (e.g. Compliance Managers, tax specialists, policy, economists, accountants)
  • Provide technical advice on large, complex tax enquiries as part of specialist case teams
  • Lead and support delivery of key technical arguments
  • Mentor colleagues and contribute to capability building through knowledge sharing

Salary

Grade 7 £65,869 to £72,711

Grade 6 £78,988 to £87,612
