To ensure that those who have access to sensitive assets and material comply with Cabinet Office policy and procedures;
Supporting the requirements of the authorities and supporting projects and business as usual activities;
Carrying out the IT security application process, including conducting induction briefings and network training;
Supporting annual sensitive equipment muster;
Completing annual IT account holders review;
Identifying gaps and weaknesses in compliance to policy and implementing improvements;
Providing input to security related incident management;
Supporting the building of new secure enclaves in HMRC;
Occasionally representing HMRC at cross-government security meetings.
Provide a point of contact for other Government Departmental STRAP Security Officers.
Providing advice and guidance regarding IT security service to users.

Person specificationEssential Criteria:1. SC Cleared on taking up duty.

4. Experience in working in Office 365 and SharePoint.
