Job summary
Customer, Process, Design (CPD) has around 450 colleagues across HMRC regional centres. There are 7 deputy directors with responsibility at enterprise level for the Customer, improving departmental processes and creating effective designs for change.
This role is in transformation design and we are looking for a senior professional who has significant previous experience of business design and leading teams.
HM Revenue and Customs is delivering an ambitious programme of change and you will have a critical leadership role in strengthening and keeping HMRC focussed on its strategic objectives including improving customer and colleague experience.
Job Description
You will lead a highly motivated team who are passionate about design. The team has around 21 colleagues with 5 team leaders at Grade 6. You be working closely in multi-functional teams with other HMRC business areas including Business Architecture and Strategy teams to ensure designs are in line with HMRCs direction of travel, influencing regime visions & roadmaps.
An experienced leader, you will need to work, often at pace, with stakeholders and delivery partners across multiple disciplines and functions in a connected, collaborative way to drive customer-focussed improvements.
You will also need to shape the future of your team as regime and value stage ownership is embedded in the department.
