Muhit R. asked a question to Mahnoor K.
Hi Muhit,
I found that on the day the team really ensure everything runs smoothly- even if you have connection problems, The transitions between the 3 virtual assessments is smooth and very well communicated to you throughout the day. I would advise that you stay calm and contact the help desk if you experience any connection problems- The team are equipped to deal with issues like these and if you for some reason are not able to attend on the day- communicate this with the team at your earliest convenience.
In terms of the tasks you have- the virtual assessment day is split into 3 tasks- in no particular order: a group exercise, a written exercise and an individuals interview exercise
Group exercise - You are grouped with other trainees to collaborate on a task. The key here is to not be too dominant- you need to communicate with the group; be heard and listen!
Written exercise- You are given a small written task to complete in timed condition. The objective here is they are testing your writing not your knowledge on the subject. Chances are others sitting this task also have no knowledge on the topic you are given. You just need to follow the instructions that are given and present your answer in a logical manner.
Interview exercise- This is not a typical interview in which you are asked about your strengths. This is a role play exercise between you and the interviewer. In this exercise stay in character throughout the interview from the moment it starts. Be professional and polite. They are testing your spoken communication
Hope this answers your questions!
