I currently am a civil servant. I got the role for HMRC and accepted it. I was doing my pre employment checks and everything went through except my driving licence number which it says is not valid however, it is valid. It expires in 2027.Other than this everything else is verified. Any help please?

I believe the team whom would have been in contact with you regarding the pre employments checks is Unity, you would need to get in touch with this team quoting the job reference number, their details can usually be found on the job advert as well, to confirm with them the next steps to take, what they require.
