How is this company different to your expectations before joining?

Well, when I joined Hector the tax inspector was the public face of the company, suit, umbrella & bowler hat to match. I was fresh out of school & was terrified of working with "adults" in their smart suits & sour demeanours. Thankfully, reality was as far from that as possible, people where friendly, mixed ages and backgrounds. And surprisingly fun, who would have thought that for a civil servant, certainly not me. As they say perception is reality & i'm glad we are hopefully portraying the new reality to people today.
