  • Hi Lacramioara, thank you for your question. There is rarely a single particular set of skills that guarantees success in the recruitment. Most roles are assessed against specific success profiles criteria which can include behaviours, strengths, experience and in some cases technical skills. The key question may not be "What skills you are missing?" but "Are you demonstrating the required skills and experience at the right grade and in the right way?" Review the essential criteria of the job advert, compare your examples with the role requirements, tailor your application to this role and essential criteria, use STAR (Situation, Task, Action and Result) format to provide examples that show impact and outcome, not just activities. Lastly, seek feedback/review previous applications against the advert, this can help identify whether the gap is in specific skills, experience, application technique, or evidence of impact. Often the difference between success and rejection is the evidence provided rather than the skill itself. Best of luck in future applications.
