Business Change Manager (G7)
6 month initial contract
As the Business Change Lead (Programme), you will provide strategic leadership for business change, readiness, and transition activity, ensuring that new or changed services are successfully adopted and sustained. You will act as the bridge between delivery teams and the business, providing assurance to senior leaders that change is feasible, understood, accepted, and ready to transition into business as usual.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the business change and readiness strategy for complex programmes, aligned to PDCF standards.
Identify and manage change impacts across people, processes, systems, policy, and operating models.
Develop and oversee readiness and transition plans, including acceptance criteria and Go/NoGo recommendations.
Provide senior leadership and assurance for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Business Acceptance Testing (BAT).
Engage and influence senior stakeholders across delivery, digital, operational, policy, and enabling functions.
Provide high quality reporting, risk management, and assurance to programme boards and governance forums.
Support effective transition to business as usual ownership and benefits realisation.
Essential Criteria
Significant experience leading business change and transition within complex programmes or transformation environments.
Proven experience delivering readiness planning, acceptance, and transition to live service.
Strong understanding of change impacts across people, process, systems, and governance.
Experience providing assurance and advice to senior leaders and governance forums.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills.
Experience working within structured project or programme environments (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
