We are looking for a Data Architect who specialises in large scale data migration projects.
We require a specialist Data Architect to supplement internal capacity to assist the Chief Data Architect in accelerating data standards on the large bulk migration of data from the legacy Self-Assessment Tax System (CESA) to Enterprise Tax Management Platform (ETMP) requiring data mapping, transformation and discussions and agreements with the business on how the data should be presented / used in the target solution. Successful Discovery and Design phases are critical for setting the programme’s direction and require deep expertise in data, systems, user needs, and service design.
You will work closely with the Business Analysts and stakeholders across HMRC to define data requirements for the commercial exercise, assess existing and emerging tooling, and accelerate the establishment of enterprise data standards.
HMRC is improving the position of its technical health (including across security, resilience, and performance) and focusing on its most critical IT. A core focus is to deliver the strategic objective, Reforming and modernising the tax and customs system, ensuring we deliver the services our customers expect, whether they are individuals, businesses, or agents.
