Role overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to lead end-to-end change delivery, taking ownership from mobilisation through to implementation and closure. You’ll work in a fast-moving, complex environment with multiple stakeholders and dependencies, ensuring delivery remains controlled, outcomes-focused, and aligned to agreed time, cost and quality constraints.

As a Project Manager, you will provide day-to-day leadership for the project and the project team, driving delivery discipline, governance and reporting. You will play a key role in stakeholder engagement and decision-making, ensuring risks, issues and dependencies are identified early, actively managed, and escalated appropriately.

Key responsibilities

You will be expected to:

  • Lead delivery across the full project lifecycle, from mobilisation and planning through to delivery, implementation and close.
  • Build and maintain a robust delivery plan, ensuring clear milestones, tolerances, controls and reporting.
  • Own and actively manage RAID (risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies), escalating where required to maintain delivery confidence.
  • Engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring clarity of outcomes, roles, responsibilities and delivery priorities.
  • Coordinate delivery with external suppliers and internal teams to manage interdependencies, resolve blockers and maintain momentum.
  • Maintain delivery artefacts and “single source of truth” documentation using agreed project tooling (including enterprise/project management tools as applicable).
  • Support governance, assurance, and timely progress reporting, highlighting decisions needed and the impact of changes on scope, time and cost.

Essential criteria

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of managing risks, issues and dependencies
  • Good stakeholder management skills and experience of working with external suppliers
  • Experience of working within a Project Delivery team
  • Experience of working with suppliers
  • JIRA knowledge/experience
  • Ability to work at pace, manage ambiguity and maintain delivery discipline within fastmoving complex environments

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of managing supplier relationships

Selection process

As part of the recruitment process, candidates may be required to complete a skills assessment in order to progress through the application process.
