The role of a planner is to work with stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are defined. The planner provides clarity on key milestones to define what, when and how activities will be organised to ensure the outcomes of the projects/programme can be achieved. They lead on all aspects of project planning, which include the development, updating and monitoring of plans and schedules. They identify activities, interdependencies and outputs for the projects/programme and work with projects to track and monitor progress.
In CCG TD, this will involve working with our PMO Planners and Planner leads within our Enterprise Portfolio Office to adhere to CCG TD’s Planning, Dependency and Change Control Frameworks. Planners also ensure continuous improvement and adoption of standards across CCG’s portfolio of project, integrating and aligning with HMRC portfolio practices.
