Job Description:
This role provides seniorlevel support to the Compliance Portfolio within the Transformation Portfolio Office (TPO) and plays a key role in shaping how the Portfolio is governed and assured. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and analyse risk and issue information across the Compliance Portfolio, producing regular and adhoc reports for governance and decisionmaking.
Act as a professional point of expertise on risk and issue management, promoting portfolio standards and providing guidance, support and coaching to project teams and senior leaders, including deputising for the G7 Portfolio Risk Lead when required.
Support the development of a strong risk management culture by identifying emerging trends and working with key stakeholders to manage, mitigate and escalate risks and issues appropriately.
Use digital tools to analyse risk and issue data and turn this into clear insight that supports senior leaders to make informed decisions.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation, contributing to portfolio communications, supporting peak activity, and helping deliver priority projects and adhoc work.
It would be an advantage to have the followings:
Management of Risk Qualification or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with PowerBI and specialist user of Microsoft Product suite particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with being a user of Portfolio Management systems
Broad understanding of core project management disciplines such as planning, scheduling and dependencies
A relevant professional qualification or working towards one, such as Management of Portfolios; P3O or APM Project Fundamentals
Previous experience of working within a complex Project, Programme or Portfolio Management Office environment
Excellent Stakeholder Management and Communication skills
Essential Criteria:
Lead criteria - Expertise and proven track record of governance and risk and issue management within a Portfolio, Programme or Project environment and experience in upskilling others.
Possess the ability and aptitude to plan, prioritise and coordinate technical work in collaboration with multiple, disparate partners of all levels of seniority.
Strong attention to detail and must have the ability to recognise patterns and trends in data
