Senior Programme Manager

The Programme Manager aims to ensure successful delivery of programme outcomes. This role is pivotal in establishing robust governance and assurance frameworks, monitoring progress, managing risks and issues, and ensuring the business is prepared for change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the end-to-end IT Agile delivery of all DWIT Integration change. This book of work covers 6 functional Value Streams across a variety of technical areas with the role including
  1. Programme Increment Planning and development of 3-year capability roadmaps to underpin DWIT business case and delivery planning.
  2. IT RAID identification, management, and mitigation
  3. Financial forecasting and tracking annual spend of c. £15m FY 2025/2026
  4. Effective commercial and delivery management of 3rd Parties and HMRC Delivery Groups
• Reporting and communicating within DWIT Programme and across broader EIS and CDIO communities, at a senior level.
• Building effective and collaborative relationships with a broad range of stakeholders to support effective planning, issue resolution and delivery.
• Management of aligned DWIT and EIS resources engaging and ensuring appropriate skills and capacity are identified and in place to support continuous delivery.
• Support for broader DWIT Programme aligning to wider programme priorities and goals. Supporting and challenging where necessary.
