Can my offer be put on hold indefinitely after i have passed my pre employment checks?

I was made a provisional offer for a compliance caseworker role in October. After passing pre-employment checks yesterday, I got an email saying an offer could not be made because the next intake would not be until March 2025. What can I do next? Thanks

Thank you for your contact you will need to contact the vacancy holder via the details on the advert or respond to the emails you have received to discuss further.

Normally pre employment checks commence after the job offer is made. As Bal said above, your best bet is to contact the vacancy holder email.
