Since starting here it has been very apparent to me how visible and approachable our Senior Leaders are. They host regular dial-ins where we are updated on news within our teams and important messages that need delivering. These are open, informal chats where we are encouraged to join in and ask questions. I find this helps to understand senior colleagues management styles, and gives us trust and confidence in them. As they are so approachable I feel comfortable enough to ask them questions around their career path, development opportunities, or even to shadow their role. There are also frequent learning weeks throughout the year, where senior colleagues host events focussing on different topics to develop our knowledge.
