does hmrc offer part time work in the same role after completing a placement year with them?

I just got an offer from hmrc for an industrial placement. So, i was wondering whether they can retain me during my final year of university as a part time colleague in the same role.

Hi, this something you would need to speak to your new manager about once you've started. Alternatively, you could ask the vacancy holder (details of who to contact in your application correspondence) beforehand.

Hi Sally, thanks for your reply but do they usually offer part time work to their placement students?

Good afternoon. Thanks for your follow-up. HMRC does offer flexible working arrangements, including part-time, job share, and term-time options. However, availability can depend on the specific directorate and business needs. As Sally mentioned, the best approach is to speak with your new manager once you've started, as they'll be able to advise based on the needs of your team. Alternatively, if you'd prefer to explore this before starting, you can contact the vacancy holder directly, details should be in your application correspondence.

    Hope that helps x
