William S. asked a question to Jo ..
I went to the job fair in Bristol’s and spoke to one of the people working for HMRC they told me about the job and said it was a good career starting point with no experience needed and no qualifications I heard this and thought it sounds good as most jobs look for qualifications even if not in the same field as the job. I jumped right on board and asked a load of questions then applied as soon as I got home. I know my cv isn’t the best but I really struggle with my dyslexia to make a good one and it’s really takes me some time to make it. Unfortunately I’m very disappointed to not receive a reply and it’s had been 2 weeks now. I would have thought a company working for the government would have a little more respect but it seems I’ve just been ignored
Hello, thank you for your question.
You would have to check your Civil Service Jobs account for progress of your application. There is also a recruitment email address on our adverts. These can be different so unable to provide a generic address. If the advert has closed you can log into your Civil Service Jobs account and go into applications, have a look under "View unsuccessful, withdrawn and archived successful applications" - you should find the original advert there which will have the details for the vacancy holder / recruitment mailbox.
