Hi, This is such a random question, but I have been invited to complete a video interview for a HMRC Customer Service Advisor role, and I'm a bit worried that my hair colour will automatically disqualify me from the job. I dye it dark-ish purple, but I always keep it neat and styled. I also have some tattoos on my arms but they can be easily covered up. Would anyone be able to let me know if my apppearance will be a problem? I'm a recent graduate who's only ever worked in retail so I've never thought about this before! Thank you :)
Hello and thankyou for reaching out. The colour of your hair and tattoos will not impact your interview, the panel will be assessing the responses to the questions asked.
