No experience is required as full training and support is provided

    Edward Complaints Manager Officer

It does depend on the role for which you apply for. There are many posts that don't require experience, some job adverts will state desirable criteria which is not essential as full training is given. However some posts may say essential criteria. The skills and experience are clearly shown on any civil service job advert. In my experience most civil service employers look at what a candidate can bring to the role, it's not necessarily about the skills or your experience as we have a culture of promoted development while in employment.
