As Assistant Principal with responsibility for careers education, I am committed to ensuring that our children have meaningful encounters with employers and gain a clear understanding of the opportunities available to them beyond school. As a large Nottingham secondary school, many of our children come from disadvantaged backgrounds and may not always have access to the professional networks and career insights that others take for granted. I am determined to broaden their horizons and raise their aspirations. The careers fair will take place alongside our Year 11 Parents' Evening, providing an excellent opportunity to engage not only with ambitious young people but also with their families as they consider their next steps after GCSEs. As one of Nottingham's most recognisable and influential employers, HMRC would be an invaluable addition to the event. Your presence would help children better understand the wide range of career pathways available within a successful local organisation, while also demonstrating your commitment to supporting the local community and developing future talent. If you are able to provide a representative to attend, and perhaps bring along any recruitment, apprenticeship, or careers information, we would be delighted to host you. Thank you for considering our invitation. I would be happy to provide any further details and hope to hear from you soon. Kind regards,
Thank you for your request, I have passed the details onto our East Midlands outreach team. They will be in touch in due course for further information.
Thanks Bal, I really appreciate your response and you passing the details onto the correct team.
