IT Delivery Manager
12 month contract
Locations - Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Telford/Birmingham, Stratford (London), Bristol, Nottingham
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver integration solutions, including legacy system migrations, cloud transitions, and API integrations.
- Produce comprehensive end-to-end IT delivery plans and regular status reports.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate IT risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Raise, monitor, and challenge commercials/costs across all delivery teams and commercially engaged delivery partners.
- Financially forecast and track all project expenditure, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Build and maintain effective and collaborative relationships to achieve successful business outcomes.
- Report and communicate project deliverables, progress, and benefits to a wide range of stakeholders across all grades.
- Apply both agile and waterfall methodologies appropriately in a delivery management setting.
- Engage, build, and maintain high-performing teams, both internally and externally, identifying the people and skills needed for continuous delivery.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in managing large and complex IT projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and forecast project expenditure accurately.
- Demonstrated capability in risk management and issue resolution.
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
