IT Delivery Manager

12 month contract

Locations - Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Telford/Birmingham, Stratford (London), Bristol, Nottingham


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver integration solutions, including legacy system migrations, cloud transitions, and API integrations.
  • Produce comprehensive end-to-end IT delivery plans and regular status reports.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate IT risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Raise, monitor, and challenge commercials/costs across all delivery teams and commercially engaged delivery partners.
  • Financially forecast and track all project expenditure, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Build and maintain effective and collaborative relationships to achieve successful business outcomes.
  • Report and communicate project deliverables, progress, and benefits to a wide range of stakeholders across all grades.
  • Apply both agile and waterfall methodologies appropriately in a delivery management setting.
  • Engage, build, and maintain high-performing teams, both internally and externally, identifying the people and skills needed for continuous delivery.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in managing large and complex IT projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong understanding of both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and forecast project expenditure accurately.
  • Demonstrated capability in risk management and issue resolution.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
