Query on Counter Fraud Investigation Officers and Criminal Investigator Officer Roles

Good morning, I hope you are well. 1- Are Counter Fraud Investigation Officers and Criminal Investigator Officers the same role or different? 2-Also, do all staff complete an apprenticeship even with Level 6 qualifications, and is the training the same regardless of pathway? Regards

A Criminal Investigator uses a range of skills to investigate, build and progress criminal and financial tax investigations to tackle the most harmful tax cheats, ensuring nobody is beyond our reach. The job is varied from analysing material in the office, to going out undertaking arrests, searching premises, interviewing people under caution and giving evidence at court. The advert will indicate if there is a need to complete an apprenticeship / training.
