Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Project Manager to lead complex, high-value projects within a multi-disciplinary environment. The role will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities, governance standards and delivery frameworks.

A key focus of this role is the successful delivery of finance components within a SAP SaaS solution, requiring strong experience leading technical and business teams through SaaS-based ERP implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale and complex projects, ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality expectations
• Manage multi-disciplinary delivery teams, including technical, functional, commercial and business stakeholders
• Oversee delivery of SAP SaaS finance components, ensuring integration with wider enterprise systems and business processes
• Develop and maintain robust project plans, RAID logs, and reporting aligned to governance requirements
• Ensure adherence to project delivery frameworks, including appropriate controls, assurance and risk management
• Provide clear and accurate delivery reporting to senior stakeholders and governance boards
• Manage supplier and partner relationships, ensuring delivery outcomes are achieved
• Drive stakeholder engagement across business and digital teams to support successful implementation and adoption
• Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies, implementing mitigations where required
• Ensure projects deliver intended business outcomes and benefits

Essential Criteria

Candidates must demonstrate the following:

• Proven experience leading a team delivering the finance components of a SAP SaaS solution
  • Including responsibility for planning, execution and delivery
  • Experience working with cloud-based SAP platforms (e.g. S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Finance SaaS)
• Strong track record of delivering complex IT-enabled projects at scale
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, including technical and business resources
• Demonstrable ability to operate at a senior level, influencing senior stakeholders and navigating complex organisational environments
• Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
• Experience of working with commercial suppliers and delivery partners
• Excellent risk and issue management capability
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable Criteria

• Experience delivering within public sector or government environments
• Knowledge of finance transformation programmes
• Familiarity with ERP integrations and data migration activities
• Relevant project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, Agile certifications)
