    Lubna Tax Specialist/Manager/Techical Leader

HMRC recruitment process depends on the job you are applying for. To answer the first question, there is no easy way as such. In terms of graduate recruitment, the applications start around September time. You can learn more by searching HMRC tax specialist programme. There is also periodic recruitment for Ao and band O compliance caseworker roles. Please register on civil service jobs and apply for those that you are interested in. For CV, have a look at the job advert as to what it asks you to include and follow the format and content. I hope this helps.

Hi Amir, we do not accept C.V's you have to apply via Civil Service Jobs. Each job has to be applied for separately as per the job advert link attached here https://www.civilservicejobs.service.gov.uk/csr/search.cgi?department=183922

Hi I am 57 years old and as a mature candidate, if I apply for tax specialist programme, can my age be a hurdle for my selection?

The programme is open to people of all ages and backgrounds so age is not a barrier to selection. To join the programme, you will need to have a minimum 2:2 degree or equivalent (level 6 qualification) at application stage, or the expectation of a 2:2 degree or equivalent (level 6) before September 2026. Civil Servants who do not meet the academic qualification can apply if you were recruited through fair and open competition and have passed your probation period before September 2026.
