Key experience
I studied zoology at university, then my first job was working in a recruitment agency, mostly recruiting scientists for the pharmaceutical industry. The company was owned by a former winner of BBC's The Apprentice. After 1 year I wanted to work in a larger company, and to help recruit a wider range of jobs. So I moved to a tech recruitment company, focus on software developers, business analysts and architects. A former colleague of mine joined HMRC's recruitment team, so I applied to join him. I was still recruiting for tech people, but only for HMRC rather than different clients. 2 years later I moved to HMRC's recruitment marketing team, to gain wider recruitment experience.
Current position
I help promote HMRC as an employer of choice, creating content to show people why they might like to work here.
Main motivation

Everyone who works for HMRC contributes to making sure that the right amount of tax is collected. This allows the UK to fund public services such as healthcare, education, emergency services and roads.

Top advice

Greatest achievement

It was called The Switch and got cancelled after one series. I didn't win anything.
