Key experience
Left the Police after 11 years for a more interesting role in HMRC Investigation. Secondments to the National Crime Agency and the MOD. Now in the newly-formed Department Operations Centre.
Current position
In the Department's first ever DOC (Department Operations Centre) - liaising across HMRC & wider Government departments responding to incidents as they happen, including COVID19, BREXIT, death of HM the Queen, industrial action - just some examples.
Main motivation

Two days rarely the same. From dealing with IT incidents impacting across the Department to meetings across the Civil Service, the work is vast and different.
