My current role is Talent Acquisition Partner for the Chief Digital and Information Office, I am the Recruitment Business Partner to core, key complex areas such as CDIO Finance, HMRC Security, Digital Academy and Enterprise Live Services, focusing on internal recruitment working closely with the CDIO Strategic Workforce Planning Team and Resource Managers. I am experienced in end to end recruitment of permanent and contingent labour resource having worked in Business Management for Securing our Technical Future, a high priority programme for CDIO. My legal studies and experience in working as a Paralegal put me at an advantage when it comes to strong verbal and written communication. Not only do I regularly converse with a multitude of stakeholders, I am a great line manager, I often provide training to colleagues and I also volunteer as an independent recruitment panellist for HMRC.

I spent a year working voluntarily as a Generalist Advisor at the Citizens Advice Bureau and Law Centre, this was extremely rewarding. I was able to apply the knowledge and skills gained from my legal education, I advised clients on issues relating to employment law, debt, immigration law, welfare benefits and housing. I conducted research and then explained my findings and options available to each client. I also created and completed a detailed and accurate case record for each client. The clients I worked with were so appreciative and grateful and it was evident how much the advice meant to them.

I had the challenging task of implementing a new rostering system to 24 areas in a 12-month period. The target was to lead a team of 2 resources and deliver training to Ward Leaders on how to utilise the new system whilst supporting Matrons on how to analyse rosters and achieve cost savings for the Trust. I faced significant reluctance from Ward Leaders resisting this change. I remained resilient, enthusiastic, and presented the benefits of the new system honestly, whilst addressing any concerns in a timely manner. I delivered a blend of clear communication methods through one to ones and drop-in training sessions and created guidance packs to further support training. I exceeded expectations and delivered to 32 areas, 8 above target and saved Ward Leaders an average of 13 hours a week in administrative activity. As well as the significant amount of money spent on Agency Workers.

Hi Ranjeet hope you're well. I had a question regarding working with HMRC.

I currently am a civil servant. I got the role for HMRC and accepted it. I was doing my pre employment checks and everything went through except my driving licence number which it says is not valid however, it is valid. It expires in 2027.Other than this everything else is verified. Any help please?

Tips for giving a presentation at interview.

Hello! I have an interview for a legal apprentice role within SOLS and have been asked to present to the panel. The question will be provided two hours before the interview but I'm not sure what the question could be or how to best prepare. Any tips or insights would be greatly appreciated!
