I've worked in Recruitment and Talent Acquisition for a little over 10 years, supporting candidates from varied backgrounds through the career transition journeys. I've worked with candidates to understand what they can bring to an organisation and in line with their career aspirations, introduce them to compatible job opportunities. I've provided advise and guidance on best practice for writing strong and effective job applications, how to "stand out from the crowd" and interview technique and delivery. I'm always keen to understand how I can help and support and will always be on hand to provide tailored advice.
Current Position
As a Talent Acquisition Partner with HMRC I support processes across permanent and contingent labour recruitment. I work and speak with applicants (and potential applicants) on a daily basis, taking the time to understand what their requirements and queries are and provide tailored advice and support to ensure that they are prepared to get the most our of their recruitment journey with us.
Main Motivation
The best part of my job, simply, is delivering positive news that a candidates has been successful in a process. It makes all the work worthwhile!
