Do you have internal training for development?
I have been very efficient working with the overground railways, but on zero contract through an agency. I am looking to transferring these qualities to HMRC on a permanent full time contract basis. You will find me very resourceful if you give me a chance.

TSP 2027 – Nationality Eligibility Query
I am interested in applying for the HMRC Tax Specialist Programme 2027. I am a Turkish citizen currently living in the UK and I have been granted refugee status in the UK, with the right to work.
I have read the Civil Service nationality requirements, including the sections relating to Turkish nationals and refugees, but I would like to confirm how these rules apply to my circumstances.
Could you please confirm whether, as a Turkish national with UK refugee status, I am eligible to apply for the Tax Specialist Programme?
I would be grateful for your clarification before applications open.
Kind regards
Mustafa EROGLU

Would HMRC like to attend our Year 11 Careers Fair at Ellis Guilford School on Wednesday 16th December
As Assistant Principal with responsibility for careers education, I am committed to ensuring that our children have meaningful encounters with employers and gain a clear understanding of the opportunities available to them beyond school. As a large Nottingham secondary school, many of our children come from disadvantaged backgrounds and may not always have access to the professional networks and career insights that others take for granted. I am determined to broaden their horizons and raise their aspirations.
The careers fair will take place alongside our Year 11 Parents' Evening, providing an excellent opportunity to engage not only with ambitious young people but also with their families as they consider their next steps after GCSEs.
As one of Nottingham's most recognisable and influential employers, HMRC would be an invaluable addition to the event. Your presence would help children better understand the wide range of career pathways available within a successful local organisation, while also demonstrating your commitment to supporting the local community and developing future talent.
If you are able to provide a representative to attend, and perhaps bring along any recruitment, apprenticeship, or careers information, we would be delighted to host you.
Thank you for considering our invitation. I would be happy to provide any further details and hope to hear from you soon.
Kind regards,

Can HMRC withdraw a provisional job offer after all pre-employment checks have been satisfactorily completed due to a CCG recruitment freeze?
I applied for the HMRC Compliance Caseworker position under campaign 503R in November 2025. I received a provisional offer in August 2026, and my pre-employment checks (PECs) were satisfactorily completed by the end of September 2026.
After contacting HMRC today for an update, I was informed that there is currently no further recruitment demand for this campaign until March 2027. I was advised that recruitment activity has therefore been paused, that my application will remain on hold, and that HMRC will contact me in due course should there be any updates or further opportunities to progress my application.
I would be grateful for some clarification regarding the situation. In particular:
1.How common is it for HMRC to withdraw a candidate's application after they have received a provisional offer and successfully completed all pre-employment checks, where the reason for the delay is a recruitment freeze or lack of business demand?
2. Does successfully completing PECs provide any additional protection or indication that the provisional offer is likely to be honoured once recruitment resumes?
3. How certain is it that recruitment for campaign 503R will resume in March 2027? Is March 2027 a confirmed recruitment date, or is this simply the earliest point at which HMRC expects recruitment demand to be reviewed?
4. If recruitment does not resume in March 2027, what would normally happen to candidates who are already at the provisional-offer/PEC-completed stage? Would applications generally remain on hold, be transferred to a future recruitment campaign, or potentially be withdrawn?
I appreciate that HMRC may not be able to provide a definite guarantee at this stage. However, given that I have already received a provisional offer and completed all PECs satisfactorily, I would appreciate any information you can provide about the likelihood of my application progressing once recruitment activity resumes.
